Principles
Education & Capacity Building
Critical to CDPI's mission is education and capacity building. Since its founding, CDPI has been working to to find stories, research, and data to share with researchers and practitioners to support their work on climate displacement . While the science remains ever-evolving, new stories of communities facing or addressing displacement emerge everyday. CDPI aims to highlight the work of these communities, and share lessons, positive and negative, with others to advance more climate-safe mobility and communities.

CDPI is actively developing original research, as well as synthesizing and summarizing scientific and technical work from other experts, to support informed, values-driven decision-making on climate change displacement. To learn more, see our active research projects.
